On June 30th, 2006 I bought a Canon EOS 350D + EF-S 18-55mm (Kit-Lens). Almost one year passed by and today I made my 10.000th picture.
I think Helmut Newton said that the first 10.000 pictures are only for the purpose of training and to get familiar with your equipment. This period is now over and I'm still not sure if I'm familiar with my equipment. I still have to improve my knowledge in making photos and I know what I can improve. The main point is that you have to know your faintness. The only question is how to handle it and how to fix it? And I also don't know if this picture is worthy to represent my work. Hopefully it is!

In the meantime I replaced the kit-lens with my latest lens - the Sigma 28-70mm which is really a great lens! The picture above has been made with the macro lens.
