Free Sloppy Border
Image by Extra Medium
New from Extra Medium labs in suburban Los Angeles, the first of probably 1 sloppy border.
I'm opening up permissions on this, because, it only took me about an hour to create from scratch. Basically, opened up a Rectangle, made it black. then made another rectangle, made it white inside it. Then went to the BRUSH tool and used brushes 44, 46 and 56 to create this sloppy mess. There are more details, but that's about it.
So here's the deal. You go to ALL SIZE and then grab the largest one, 3600x2400. Should be able to fit most of your 8-10mp camera shots. Download that one. It's on the house.
1. Open it up in Photoshop.
2. Open up whatever photo you want to apply this to. On your photo:
3. Ctrl-a (to select your image)
4. Ctrl-c (to copy your image)
Now go to the border/frame and:
5. Ctrl-v (to paste your image on top of the border)
6. Ctrl-t (to be able to move/resize your photo to fit this border
(maybe select the little LOCK/LINK looking thing next to the dimensions of your photo at the top to maintain it's aspect ratio)
Then when you get it to how you like it (see my example below) then:
7. click the CHECK MARK at the top of your screen (to approve the repositioning of your photo).
You'll probably have an additional layer, so you can:
8. LAYER --> Flatten Image
That should about do it. Just paypal me for every one you do, and we're all good to go!
