This is a Polar Panorama image of inside of the playground at "Dragon Park" in Nashville,TN . It is a combination of 8 images stitched together. This was my first attempt at my new Peleng 8mm. It takes less images now, but I am not satisfied yet. My previous images were much sharper. Hopefully it is a manual focus issue and I will just get better at it.

Not a great shot - it was in motion, underwater, and behind plexiglass. But I've always liked the way the colours and reflections work in this image.

Captured image of this little reptile under the Captain Cook Bridge. It remained motionless on the piece of timber - a remnant of the wharves that graced the river bank in this spot long ago. The eastern water dragon grows to around 80-90cm in length, much of which is tail The colour consists of shades of grey or brown with a series of black bands on the back and tail and a black stripe on the side of the head behind the eye. The underside is creamy-white, although males may have a vivid red on some or most of the belly and chest. There are enlarged scales forming a crest down the middle of the head, back and tail. The legs are relatively long and powerful and the strong tail is flattened on the sides to assist with swimming.

HMS DRAGON, BRITISH BEACON and HMS DUNEDIN anchored off Garden Island

HMS DRAGON, the British tanker BRITISH BEACON and HMS DUNEDIN are depicted anchored off Garden Island, Sydney on 9 April 1924. This photograph was taken by Frederick Wilkinson while he was travelling on board a ferry to Watson’s Bay, Sydney.
HMS DRAGON was a Danae class cruiser of the Royal Navy launched in Glasgow in December 1917. In January 1943 the vessel was transferred to the Polish Navy for further convoy duties and then took part in Operation Neptune as part of the Normandy landings. It was torpedoed and eventually scuttled in 1944.
HMS DUNEDIN was a Danae class light cruiser of the Royal Navy commissioned at Newcastle-on-Tyne on 13 September 1919. During WW2 it was used for searching out German battle cruisers and merchant ships as part of the Northern Patrol, then the West Indies Station and finally the South Atlantic Station. On 24 November 1941 DUNEDIN was sunk after it was hit by torpedoes from the German U-boat (U-124) off the coast of Brazil. In total 419 men lost their lives; there were only 67 survivors.
Frederick Wilkinson (1901 - 1975) migrated to Australia from England in 1911. While wokring various jobs in and around central Sydney, Wilkinson acquired a camera and began taking photographs of vessels and harbour scenes. Many of his images were used by commercial photographers for souvenir postcards.

I believe this to be a "Pacidiplax longipennix" based upon comparison to images in the "Audubon Field Guide to Florida"
If you are an expert in this filed please correct my identification the the comments pane.
It is resting on a leave of the Palmetto plant.

The Devil, the dragon and the lower halves of St. George and his horse.
The canopy over this painting made capturing the entire image problematic, so I settled for photographing what I knew would turn out fairly well.
If I remember correctly, St. George looked brave and serene, and his horse looked perky.
